The selected theme for Angola Pavilion was “Angola: Sustainable Development, Our Commitment!”. The Angolan Pavilion expressed, on the one hand, the exuberance of its coast and sea, whether from the perspective of the economic potential, biological diversity, natural beauty and cultural diversity of the people who inhabit it. On the other hand, showed the efforts being made for the rational development of its natural resources, tourism, fishing, oil, scientific research, areas of biodiversity conservation, and urban development, etc.
Angola knows that the future of the world must include respect for biodiversity, harmony and balance established between nature and progress. That’s why we’ve created a themed pavilion conceptually innovative, technologically advanced and aesthetically avant-garde.
Angola Pavilion was designed as a magical and evocative place. Through a virtual trip around the country, one can discover its breathtaking natural and cultural heritage, embracing the values of sustainability and environmental preservation as the main message of the exhibition discourse. A visitor can see the different areas of the Pavilion, discovering in each amazing scenes.
Combining multimedia, special effects and diverse resources in an unforgettable exhibition, the Pavilion shows not only the spirit of Angola, but also its environmental, social and cultural contexts. The main goal is to ensure that, at the end of the tour, the visitor without any cognitive effort has a very strong and positive representation of Angola, its natural and cultural heritage, and its strong commitment to sustainable development and preservation. The exhibition discourse divides the Pavilion in four thematic areas, which, in turn, are subdivided into different units or exhibition areas.
